does anyone know how to fix error code 09 on the xbox and was wondering if i bought a new hard drive would that fix the error and would i still have to use the hotswap on it also?

How would i go by on getting a new eeprom though i cant even play anything on it kuz it says error code 09 and then call customer service for support or something like that? would i be able to use a Pc hard drive or does it have to a certain kind of hard drive for the xbox? ive read the tutorial on how to hotswap but im kinda weary kuz i dont want to fry my xbox and computer and plus i dont want to get electricuted on doing this? and i also have another error on my other xbox which is 16 and it says im suppose to use the hotswap method on fixing that
I've never used the hotswap method and i've fixed well over 60 xbox's. You can obtain the eeprom.bin file by makin a eeprom reader. All you'll need is your eeprom and a C:, modded or not. Ive read the tutorial on how to make the eeprom reader but i dont think i can do that im not very good electronics and stuff like that but i do have the C drive and the xbox hdm1.9 though but the soldering i dont think i could do that though is some other alternative to get the eeprom or some site u can get an eeprom from? but thanks for the links and the guide how to upgrade the hardrive though and the tutorials
