hello, I have a v1.3 xbox, i just installed a xecuter 3 ce modchip, solderless, the chip worked great as my xbox would just boot up whenever it wanted to before, anyway, now it comes on whenever you turn it on, I burned a dvd with a dummy.bin image and a bios.bin after renaming the X3_bios, some tutorial said you had to, I used the X3_bios 3294, I hope this is the right one, the xbox now has flash bios 3.01, when you turn the xbox on it goes to the choose method to flash, I tried to flash via the dvd method, it finds updated bios, shows the bar where its flashing, first green, then blue goes across the screen, then the xbox turns off like it is supposed to, but when I go to turn it back on it won't boot up, tries for a second then shuts back off. I have to push eject and power button to boot to the backup bios, 256k, I have tried to flash several times but I get same thing everytime, I have no dashboard installed, don't know how actually, figured I would have to have bios flashed first, did I do something wrong, please help, any help is appreciate it, I know there are very smart and knowleadgeable people on this forum, so please feel free to help as much as possible thanks, jeff
no, i can't get to config live, if i push power and eject buttons to boot up backup bios it goes to flashbios 3.01, and you just have to pick which method to flash with, ftp, hd, disc, http or if I change banks it boots up to same thing, maybe the x3 bios wasn't a good file, got it from xbins

ye, return, I flashed it right, the bars went across when it was flashing like it is supposed to, then it shuts off like it is supposed to , then you can't get it to come back on right, it just starts and turns right back off
