Xbox flashing via laptop

    Hi guys, is it possible to flash any xbox drive via a laptop. i am familiar with the pc flashing but wanna know if its possible via laptop. If so, what do I need to get me started. Im running on Vista and have a Compaq Presario C700.

    Wouldn't have thought its possible unless you can acquire a PCMCIA card with a VIA 6421 Chipset.

    It is possible, you have to get a specific PCMCIA SATA card with a compatible chipset (usually VIA 6421). I've seen them for sale on ebay.

    Yes, that PCMCIA card will do.

    Keep in mind, for Lite-on flashing you're going to need other equipment that may require a PC power source.

    All new xbox 360's have lite-on drives.. ermm is that true?

    AFAIK, this is true. The ones manufactured November last year
