See 1st of all i was flashing the evox m-8 bios on my xbox. It flsahed and then my xbox rebooted then the "Button to open the disk tray" of the xbox was showing red colour instead of green but everything was working fine. Then i again flashed then xbox with evox m-8 and then it erases something(well it was some manufactures id or something) then as soon as the erasing thing finished, I accidently rebooted the xbox and now it powers on-off 2 times and then the LED flashes red and green (FRAG). So is it a problem with my "mod chip" or is the whole xbox spoilt??? If i replace my current mod-chip with any other mod-chip then will my xbox work and boot properly again??? I have a 1.6 xbox version. I think my mod-chip may be matrix or a duoX2. PLS HELP ME!!!
if you could get hold of a disc that would rewrite the bios on your modchip then that would work, but yes i think you need a new modchip. if you do get hold of the program you need (i havent actually heard of one but its possible) then just start the xbox up with the disc in and then it will load it and do whatever it asks. new modchip would be easier.
I have made a backup of my bios and transferred to my pc but i deleted the backup in my xbox. So if I make an xbox image of the backuped files using the xiso and burn the image to a cd-rw, then will my xbox work??
And hey 1 more thing if i install a new mod chip like now i hve a matrix or a duox2 (well i dont know) and if i put an Xecuter 3 CE then will all my HDD save games go away??
