My xbox is chipped and has evolutionx installed, I have halo2 installed on the hard drive and want to install the extra map packs. I have bought the Multiplayer Map Pack cd but when I put it in my xbox and run it, I get this message.
    "Error
No definition file (either b:\cdxmedia\cdx_ffffffff.inx or b:\cdxmedia.. . ect"

    Can someone please help.

Just a quick reminder, it helps if you give a more detailed description about the hardware you have running. Is the mod chip switched off or on when you are trying to run the map pack? Have you tried manually extracting each map? Do you have the settings to auto boot when inserting a disc? Need a little more info to help.

How do you turn off your mod chip, I got it installed at a store where they do the whole thing for you. Im not sure what type of mod chip it is but they installed an 80gig hard drive which I usually backup my games directly on using DVD2-xbox I could use FTP to transfer it through flash FXP but I don't know where to put the files.

most mod chips are turned off by using the eject button to power on.

If you are a Softmodded XBOX then insert the DVD of the updater. Turn off the XBOX then power on. The XBOX should read the DVD drive before the Dash, hence "turning off" the mod.
