well i actually missed my chances with the HDD but i found a site that does HDD's cheap! ive picked this one out.. http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?MAX-DM250P is it any good for my xbox?
You would need to check if the maxtor is a later model that's made by seagate if it's not & it's an original from maxtor steer clear of it as they have a high failure rate, the top 3 in order are as follows 1-Hitachi 2-Seagate 3-Western Digital I suggest you shop around as a new seagate 320GB HDD 16MB cache 5 year warranty OEM here in NZ would equate to around 35 pound in UK,rule of thumb is the larger the drive the cheaper per GB it is
ok cool thats handy.. so would this be a better HDD to grab? http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?HIT-HD250P not bad price either if i dont say so myself! Thanx ScorpNZ
I don't know too much about the Hitachi drives. The Seagates come with a 5 Year warranty, always nice! A good price is only what you are willing to pay!
