Okay, here is what i did, i created a new hard drive with a program, i cant remember where but i will put link on here soon, i followed all to a tea, then when i put in xbox, it gave me error 06, well, my understanding, xbox hdd's have to be a minimum 8 or 10 gigs, this was a 6 gig, so i guess that is problem with that on, does anyone agree or disagree??

Next, i have a working softmodded xbox, and xbox that was softmodded, but hard drive doesnt work, so i took working hdd from working xbox and placed it in other xbox that hard drive wasnt working, when i turn it on, i get error 09, is this because hdd key doesnt match eprom on xbox? anyone have info on this??

    thanks

excuse me? you can make a hard drive for a xbox, as long as the hard drive is soft modded or chip in it! why do you have to use sarcasm like that! maybe i upset you somehow!

here is the link, have a look at it tocool4u!

You need a HDD that you buy at a store

A HDD is a piece of Hardware that your store space in

I don't know if you meant create 1 without opening the xbox ......Or you meant you bought a HDD and put it in your xbox

have you tried downloading Slayer 2.6?
that can lock and unlock HDD's
But why you would want to downgrade from an 8MB, which is already way too small, to a 6GB is beyond me.
You should be getting something like a 160GB and slapping that one in.

reason for 6 gig, was, it was laying around, and wanted to test this out on it!

remember, i dont have original eeprom to get hard drive key from, only hard drive , i need to put missing files back on it!

i have downloaded slayers, but having trouble installing it to burn!

what troubles are you having burning Slayer? What type of file are you burning and what type of media are you using. I had no problmes burning that one.
