xbox hard drive question.

i want to upgrade my xbox to 40 gb..what hard drive do you recommed me? and where i can buy it? thanks

 

A 40Gb isnt really worth it. You should get at least a 120GB HDD. Do you know how to upgrade your hdd? If not reply to in this tread and I can tell you how. Dont attempt to try to upgrade if you dont know how!!

 

yea 120 is a good size thats what i have also get a maxtor becuz they are easier to lock/unlock better compatablitly. also please read tutorials if u r going to do this.
and always back-up your eeprom and c drive just in case.....

upgrading a hdd on a modded (chipped) xbox involves installing the hdd, then sticking a disc in
nothing harder to it.
very very easy.

 

hey djboogie what installer are you using? Sounds easier than xboxhdm! and you have appox 800GB of diskspace? Damn you never need to use a disc again!!! Also would you happen to know how to modd the hdd so when you uprade you wont get banned from Xbox Live?
