Hey, fantastic site. I have acquired an xbox, modded it and I'm currently loving streaming my media from my pc on to my tv.
However, we this new found ability my pc hard drive is amassing many films and programmes and I want to install a new hard drive into my xbox. Can anyone recommend (and link?) a hard drive in the uk that people have installed into their xboxes? I just want to use it as a media centre and not play games or live on it? 250 (maybe larger if it's a good deal) gig should do.

Hope this is ok as a new post

    cheers

Pick something like PATA/ ultra ATA something with an IDE Cable. Either maxtor or seagate, most of these will lock. Make sure it's a newer drive something with a 8mb to 16mb cache.

I'd check ebay and just browse i'm sure you can find a good deal. I usually get a 300 gig drive for about 100. They have them at newegg.com too it's the seagate barracuda 7200rpm 16mb 300gig hd.
