ok my friends xbox stopped working something to do with his harddrive got an error message forgot which one but it couldnt be fixed.so he gave it to me i was wondering if i installed a modchip is i could just add a new bigger drive afterwards or will i still need an eeprom????
alright so i wouldnt need my eeprom or anything right....just install the chip and hook up the new drive and it should work good...
Yeah it should work, I had a HDD error to it got bumped while writing and pouged itself badly. I got and error 7. SO i bought a duox 2 modchip and a 250 gig HDD dled slayers autoinstaller and its working as i type.
