Hi, I am having problems with my Xbox HD, i can install game into my HD but it's only under 2GB. Can someone advise me whether i can increase the HD size??? i am not thinking of upgrading my HD, just want to know if there a way that i can install game over 4 GB into my Xbox HD. I heard someone said something about partition it but don't know how it work, by the way i am using the Slayer program! Any help will be great!
there isn't much room on the original HD.. you really need to swap it out.. which is very simple and replace it with a bigger one.. i dunno what the story is with the nothing over 2 gigs.. unless the xbox comes formatted in FAT32 which doesn't recognize files over 4 gigs..
Ok let say i want to install a game into the Xbox console, but how come there is only 2GB of free space for installing it? Can i change the driver letter?
Cause the xbox frees up space for game saves and so forth... well shit look what i found by searching for you.. something u should have done by yourself but this is ur freebie.. dinnit read it but once again should help http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/formatf.php
Hi again, I just want to know one thing currrently i got 2GB on my drive F:, if i do what the article say...is that mean the new drive F: will be 4 GB after i formatted? Sorry i am really new to this so please forgive me if i don't understand anything! Cheers
The xbox is partitioned into several pieces. C, D, E, F, ....... You cannot change the size of the partition for all I know.
I dinnit read the article.. i just found it for you.. if thast what it says then it will probably do that...
Ok but currently everything i saved (games) it's in F:. Is there a way i change to anothere drive to save the game, coz F: only contain 2 GB! ???
