xbox hdd broke and replaced...

    OK, so a friend gave me his xbox and the hdd is brokin on it and was never modded, i have another hdd and formated and installed the files it needs. now i cant lock the hdd cuz i do not have the eprom and i get the error 6. how would i fix this? "im not buying a mod chip..."

    You'll need an eeprom reader
