PLEASE HELP!!! I recently FRIED my xbox HDD... I had softmodded it. I have a spare 12gb maxtor HDD, but no backup of retail HDD. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
@drx The easiest fix would be to purchase a MB/HDD combination set and replace your current ones. *edit: Are you sure it's your xbox hdd and not your PSU?
I am absolutely positive it is the HDD. There is no way i can softmod another HDD in my pc? When i softmodded it with the uxe installer, it gave me an option to backup my eeprom, and i chose yes, but unfortunately that backup is probably on the HDD (am i right?) which is fried.
Yes you can but you need the EEPROM. That's why I was saying buying the MB/HDD combo online would be the easiest way. There may another way but that's where I have to say, I don't know.
