Ok so i want to softmod. i have a 360 and an original, I play halo 2, my dad plays madden. if i mod in halo 2 on the orig xbox (but dont go on live), can i get banned if my dad logs on the original (the softmodded one) and plays madden or another game i dont have mods for? And does getting banned effect just H2 or your whole account?
One thing people do is removee the softmod to get on live...but you have to ftp from the softmod menu and delete all the files off c and move all the orignal xbox files back to c and delete all files from e except edata and udata
No, You don't get banned if you have a softmodded xbox, you only get banned when you have modded Halo 2 files.
Hazrdous thats not true if you go onlive with your softmod on and dont use the retail function you will be banned....
Naturally, That's what I mean't, But I used the SID v4 Installer and you physicaly can't go on xb live unless you boot in retail mode(It has a Sign In Blocker, Unless your in retail mode), Sorry I was assuming that most people were using the SID v4.
yea your right sid 4 or later wont let you sign on but you know some of these people are still trying to softmod with 3.0 and 3.1 because they dont read enough tutorials......
