Xbox live connections.

    Hey guys.
    Just wondering about xbox live connections. i have a moderate NAT, and am wondering does anyone know how to change it to Open NAT.

    if you're using a router, forward the ports that LIVE uses, or update the FW on your router and it will most likely solve your problem.

    the latest firmware is there. Is a static ip address nessecary for port forwarding. cheers again

    enable upnp on the router, and forward the ports for xbox live or, just put the ip address that your xbox uses in dmz mode.

    glad you got it sorted, but im surprised that the newest FW didnt automatically do that for you though, bc it did with mine; and it was the only way i could enable it, i could check the box all i wanted before and hit the save settings button and it would never save it.
