Xbox Live Not Found

    I have looked all over the web and afterdawn trying to find a solution to this problem. When I try to connect to xbox live it says start troubleshooter, then in the troubleshooter there is a red X and it says xbox live not found.I connect through a D-Link DGL-4300 router. I have been trying to fix this problem for about a month now, so any help will be greatly appreciated.
