hello there, Ive been modding for about 2yrs now and I finally decided to join xbox live, now that I have some xtra dough coming in. My Question is will I get banned if I connect with: The Mod Chip Switched off and if I use my Western Digital 200gb Hard Drive (locked) According to the "Marriage Theory" I believe I should be ok because Ive never signed onto Xbox Live before. So In closing all Im looking for is a reassuring "Yes you'll be fine" because I totally don't feel like farting around with eeproms and I cant use my original drive because I sold it. yep i think youll be ok, as long as 1. mod chip is OFF 2. and only MS stuff is on the C partition of your xbox (stealth install everything on F and G.) 3. HDD locked im not 100% sure if thats everything so you may want to wait for someone else to confirm what i said. ( i dont want you to get banned cause i F@^&ed up.)
I second Logik666's opinion. A while back I looked into this in depth on Xbox-Scene and people who had never created an online account before on their original HD and then created an account on an upgraded HD were fine. I'm not going to throw any guarantees in, but I would say that I am 99% sure that you will not get banned.
