Xbox LIVE Question

Hi, I actually have two questions. 1. Has anyone been banned after the recent Xbox LIVE dashboard update while using iXtreme firmware?

and 2. I know it isn't safe to play Backups AND play on Live but it is generally assumed to be rather safe, so is it safe to update? As in, has MS added anything to the update which could catch anyone? Thanks in advance.

 

1)People are always being banned, haven't read anything here but odds are good probably.

2)It's unlikely that updating will be the reason for a ban, I'd feel relatively safe doing it.

 

Yeah...I know people are always being banned however, usually after they send an update with new things to catch people, they drop the ban-hammer and a whole wave of people are banned so that's what I was referring to.
