People play on Xbox Live gold with odded console with no problem though, I don't get it.

 

yea me too i dont understand if they can ban you when ur not payin but cant ban you if ur payin....confusin.I have a modded xbox 360 and play live no problem.

 

as long as you are paying them, why stop you from paying them? but if its free and you arent paying for it and you tamper with it...yeah they are going to ban you

 

Cause I figured they would want to stop you from possibly illegally burning games whether you pay for Xbox Live or not.

i was thinkin that too because even though u are payin them ur still usin games that they have made no profit from and even if u are payin 4 live its still not costin u nowhere near as much as a game itself.

if they made XBL free then they're not going to have money for RnD for it to make it better.

it's about the price of a game for a year of XBL, quit bein so cheap (oh and that's almost the same price as a tank of gasoline) so quit your bitchin

 

I'm not on here saying they should lower or eliminate the price. I think that $50 is pretty resonable for a years service.

 

the thing is i can't afford it since im a student at university.
plus i already payeed like 500 for the console y shuld i add on top of that. i am loyal and bought 15 games. living off the coupons for live. now they are gone. so i think i will sell my games and go backups to pay for the live service.

 

lol wow thats illegal, but maybe you could trade in your originals and DESTROY the backups and then buy you a live subscription...

 

watever it is i paid a lot for the games and the 360 but it isn't good enought that i get a years subsciption or so. w.e i might sell my 360 soon and stick with getting a ps3 since they are competing and i heard they are gonna give a copy of the live service. they claim it will have a mic and everything. and they will also have the rumble in the controller again!
