If i were to mod my 360 and play backups offline and originals online. Say there was another system update soon how do you get around the update with out being banned? do you just wait for ixtreme to bring out a new firmware or what???
Xbox mod/Running backups = risk of getting banned. pulling the ethernet orug playing offline doesn't help. IXtreme 1.5 should deal with some security issues that were not dealt before.
yes, that is what would happen. if massive amounts of people started getting banned because of a new check MS does, then a new hacked firmware would be developed to counteract it.
dont expect a new update anytime soon though, the fall update was this years big update, there wont be another one until next year.
I agree with the above post. Now that all the major holiday releases are out and the big fall update is over we won't see any system wide updates for a little while. I just flashed to 1.4 and I will just keep on playing until something happens.
sorry for the double post this is my first day..... so when the next system update which shouldnt be for a while comes out i will just wait and read about what happens to the people that update or wait for a new firmware??? does ixtreme always bring out a newer version after a system update??? last question... are game updates fine to install?
Its ok to do your game updates if it ask. There hasnt been a update in sometime now since the 1.4 has been woring well. Do your updates you will be fine. Its just if you please a backup on line beware of the BAN HAMMER.
all i play are backups and all i play is online. theres no reason to git banned as long as u dont play review copies or play it way before release like a lot of noobz did for gears 2
