can I access xbox live if I have a upgraded hard drive and evolutionx as my dash. I'm using the xecuter 2.3b lite plus so i can switch the mod off if I want. I think all I have to do is lock the xbox. Is this correct. I want to find out before actually doing it that way I don't get banned.
if you lock the drive and turn your chip off you can go on xbox live, but it is now possible to get banned but its unlikely. There is a HDD detection but microsoft dont seem to be baning people(yet)
yes that was originally thought but still yet..its not 100% proved that M$ are banning people even when locked..so not sure i had xbl for ages and didnt renue it, but when i did i have 120GB hdd and cheapmod with switch
i have 200 gig and locked my hd.. and accidently went to xbox live with switch on did not get ban.. just get a message that xbox live not detected.
