Hello all , I have a soft modded xbox that has worked fine for a long time now . i unpluged it for a bit and now when i turn it on . I get sound i can hear it loadding up into avalaunch and then my music comes on . i can hear the clicks as i move the controle. but no video . I have checked with another cord and same thing . any sujestions .could this be a software issue ?.
Yeah, try using a different port in your t.v. Also, if you are using s-video try not using it once. Just curious, what ver Xbox do you have?
That's the $64.00(USD) Question PimpDawg? Not every XBOX uses the same Video Chip IIRC XBOX 1.0 ~ 1.2 used the Conexant Chip Ver. 1.3 ~ 1.4 used a Foucs Chip. and on the 1.5 ~ 1.6 use an Xcalibur. The upshot of all this is if you use a BIOS (via a Softmod or Modchip), that does not properly reflect your XBOX™ Generation you could end up with no Video. It is also just possible that the NTSC / PAL Setting has gotten messed up to. I think there was a was to set it back via the Slayers Evox CD but, the last time I used it was like in 2003. So I really don't recall such a fix as easaly...
Hi, I have the same problem. When I turn on the xbox you can hear it load up but there's nothing on the tv. I tried this page http://www.llamma.com/xbox/Repairs/ComaConsole.htm but still the same. Anyone out there have any ideas. Thank in advance.
