xbox media center freezing

when i have an internet connection it never freezes at the start, but when i don't it just freezes and i gotta restart my box. what should i do

 

Have your internet connection ON DURRRRRRRR!!!

or just get an older build of XBMC

 

it's on my friends' xbox but he doesn't have an internet connection. so i think it might get stuck because it's looking to try and look up the weather @ the bottom, maybe there's a way to disable that?

 

I dont think so....but like I said just get an older build
