i just got the latest version of xbox media center and im wondering if i can use skins from earlier versions with the new version. THANX
as far as I know,project mayhem is the only skin that works....some others might,but most of the ones being made now have some kind of bug in them.
I just installed a few skins for an older version of XBMC and now I can't even use XBMC, just a black screen.
go into your config.xml file through ftp and change the line where it says what skin it's using in there to the one that worked. Then delete the cashe in drives x,y,z.....just to make sure. Then when you start xbmc it should resort to the skin you selected in the file.
