Thanx in advance for any help u guys can give. If I mod my xbox, I know that I cant use burned games online, but what about downloading extra content? If I rent the game and use the origional CD to download the extra content, can I still use that content with the burned game? Also, why or why not? I have to explain this to some friends as well. THX.
I've never tried this, but I think that as long as you have your modchip disabled and use the original game you should be able to download your extra content you should be able to use it with a backup. Because, the extra content would be saved to your hard drive and therefore you wouldn't need an original.
