xbox modded question please help

    ok my friend has the modded xbox with the harddrive so he just puts games on the harddrie if i buy the game would i be able to still go online with it?

    as I understand your question it works like this
    Your friend has a modded Xbox.
    You don't.

    You wanna buy a game and let him copy it to his xbox.
    you wanna know if you can still go online with that game on your xbox. If all I have said is true than YES. YOU can still go online with your xbox but your friend may not. In my experience once an Xbox is modded AND Xbox Live finds out you can no longer play live. I modded my box recently and was able to play on LIVE for one day and then the next day XBOX live said I had a modded or changed Hard ware in my box and can't connect. Such is my luck :( but I hope I have answered your questions.
