XBOX Modding Help!

Sorry if this is a úber duplicated thread, but ive recently aqquired an xbox, and wanna get it modded. Now first is there any kind of swap magic way or does it have to be a chip?

and could someone tell me what chip is the best, were to buy it and how to install it?!?

i understand what to do, but will this softmod thing be on all the time then and play backup games?

or will you have to do it everytime like swap magic? cause that could be annoying

 

After you are done with this softmod, you can play backup games any time without doing anything else.

 

so i have to buy a memory card and AR?

 

you only need one game, AR and AR USB adapter. Whatever the tutor asks. That is what you need.

seems abit daft. how easy is it to fit one of those plug in no solder chips?

 

it is easy. but you need to know how to burn CD/DVD.

 

yeah ive read the instructions on that. is there any decent step by step guide on how to fit the chip, preferably with pictures

Is there any difference in the softmods as opposed to the chips? I mean i know that you don't have to open up the xbox, and that the softmod stays on. But performancewise, do they work about the same? Is there something the chip can do that the softmod can't?

 

of course they will

 

with modchip you can fix all kind of problems for xbox easily. Upgrade hdd, format are every easy. Plus mod bios that softmod can't do. Softmod is harder. If you accidently format hdd, you will need a modchip.

 

think im gonna go for the mod chip. Anyone who can find me a good non solder one that plays all backups and imports would be great
