Xbox reading Auto installer deluxe disc

    ok i have a samsung dvd-rom on my xbox i have 1 question
    1)will this dvd-rom be able to read a cd-r and a dvd-rw

    mine does so im sure yours will....but the DVD-rw will probably be better....

    do i just put the disc in the xbox dvd drive with the new hard drive put in or do i have to do something to the hard drive first

    if you have a modchip just boot the disc with the new HD hooked up and it will prompt you to Format the New HD....if you have a softmod then you need to do this...
