My friend softmodded his xbox and later decided to upgrade the hd. Something went wrong and he brought it to me and asked me to fix it he has a clone of the C D & E drives and thats about it. If i go get him a chip and install it, would it save me the trouble of eliminating the error 16 and redoing the dash? what is a chip that could do this?
anychip the xecuter 2.6,X3 any new xenium or smartxx but it all depends on the bios you flash the chip with the X2 5035 , any new bios will over write the error 16... But if you still have the eeprom for that Xbox you can rebuild the large HD with XboxHDM and it should fix that clock error.....
