i was playing a movie in my xbox. i hit the open button to get the movie out and it didn't open, but the screen went black like it reset. after a few seconds i turned the xbox completely off, and tried hitting the open button again. nothing. io turned it off again, and tried just starting the xbox, then opening, and still nothing. i unplugged it from the power supply for a few minutes and when i plugged it back in. it worked just fine. a couple days later, i had another movie in there, but i stopped it and turned it off before i hit the open button, and it did it again. it turns on, but won't boot, and the drive won't open. i have found a couple threads elsewhere that state the only solution was to have microsoft fix it for like $80. but i figured i'd try here since the afterdawn peeps have helped me with just about every problem i've had from PC to PS2. if anyone knows the solution, it's the afterdawn peeps. thanx in advance.
BTW. i forgot to mention that the disk is stuck in the xbox. i tried the little whole near the drive and it didn't work. is that the wrong place or did i do it wrong.
