ok i need anyones help that would be willing to give advice. i have one xbox that has evolution on it and one that has unleash x on it, i need to transfer files from one xbox to another. i have both xboxs put to a router not a hub its a wg45g linkseys router, the 4 port with a internet port. its also wireless. i cant figure out why they are not finding one another, the unleash is searching for the evolution and cant seem to find it. are these bios compatible or are they just to different to communicate. i have done some research on certain files to use but i cant seem to find them on the xbox. any one please help this is driving me crazy!!!
The BIOS versions on each respective box would have nothing to do with being able to ftp. I need more information though to help you. Have you enabled static IP in the system/network settings? If you have them hooked up to a router that may not matter because DHCP should give them both a different address but then you would have to know what addresses the router was giving them in order to connect with an ftp client. If you could post a short list of the steps you have already taken I would be able to better assist you. theres a program or install xbmc as a app on both, then auto discover set to yes!!works. me and my roomate used to do it.we would copy games so wqe could use them on kai and system link
