So it was flashing green and red? Did you get an error code at all?

I soldered an Xecuter 2.6 mod chip into my XBox and it turns off and on 3 times and has a flashing green and red light on the eject tray. However, I was still able to load the BIOS with no trouble. Problem is, I can't load a dashboard because all I see is a blue screen when I turn the XBox on.

hockey12, You might wanna recheckthe soldering job you did. You also might have loaded a bad bios. When it flashes 3 times its called a FRAG. Did you have a dashboard on before?

You guys should get really good help at xbox-hq.com. Just register (its free) and ask them; they'll answer in about 15 minutes.

Sorry, I should have responded to the thread earlier. I have fixed the problem. I flashed the BIOS to the wrong bank, but was able to fix it by flashing FlashBIOS on to bank 1 and the EvolutionX M8 Bios_v1.6 on Bank 2. The XBox turns on fine now and we get a screen that has a large X on the left and 4 tabs on the right: Memory, Music, XBox Live and Settings. I was just wondering if this is a dashboard or not? I thought I had to install EvoX seperately, which I haven't done yet. Also, the clock settings always appear every time the XBox is turned on. I was just wondering if there was any way to fix this? I will also take your advice and check on xbox-hq.com. I appreciate your help though :)
