I need help i got an xbox today. Has anyone heard about the newer versions not being able to be chipped. I need to know if the new ones cant be chipped. If i can get my xbox chipped i will get an xalx2+ chip has anyone heard of or own this chip what do you think of it please write back
From what I've heard every version can be modded. The newer version require an extra wire or two for power and ground to the LPC. RustyDog
I know every version up to 1.3 can be modded. I haven't heard about a 1.4 XBOX yet. 1.3 does require a whole lot more work (I understand even the solderless adapters need atleast one soldering point). I got my XBOX in August and it was a 1.2
