I have a xbox v1.6 that is softmodded an a xbox v1.0 that has no hard drive at all. can i put a new harddrive in the v1.0 xbox? i have a retail harddrive from the v1.6 xbox but it wont work in the v1.0 xbox. i was thinking about getting a new 120gb harddrive for the v1.0 but dont know how to lock it on an unmodded xbox. thanks for any help guys.
if you dont have the original hard drive that came with the 1.0 you have to put a mod chip in the console, if you do just softmod the hard drive and make a backup of your eeprom.bin and then you can lock it to that console
