    what is modding? my xbox can save games to it's harddrive.
    (old xbox,not 360) and how do i know what dashboard
    i have? THANKS !

    modding is altering your xbox to play homebrew code or backed up games....if u havent modded your xbox yet u have the M$(micros0ft)dashboard....

    i've read some more about modding.i see there are software and hardware modding. not interested in the hardware version. so can you tell me how to do softmodding? and thanks theridges!!
    where can i get the software and stuff. we be reading more in these forums. thanks

    i've read the tut, but i don't have Action Replay adapter. just winXP and a Xbox.guess it is not possible to softmod without other hardware.
    thanks for all ya'll help. so it's off to play :)
