yeah it needs to be softmodded or have a modchip in it. and there are several tutorials on how to do anything you want to at the top in bold letters
Yes, look at the Xbox Backup section, at the top should be a bold stick thread that explains how to back up your games. Softmodding is something you can do yourself, but know what your doing before you attempt it because if you screw up you may be replacing your Xbox. A modchip is a more expensive way to go but has a few advantages over the softmod method, like once you have a modchip installed it is very easy to swap out the stock drive with a large hard drive. very nice mod because then you can store all your games right on the hard drive and keep the discs untouched and clean. Plus load times are much better from a hard drive. It is also easy to fix a lot of errors because you can use auto installer discs like Slayer 2.7 to re-install things. But there are a few different methods for backing up games to another DVD and if you do it from an original disc you have quite a bit of reading to do first. You will have to learn how to set up an FTP connection and what you need to do it. Also look into "network sharing" as you may need to set that up as well. Then the actual process of making the back up. It is a lot of stuff at first, but once you have it all set up and have done it once or twice it is quite easy.
