xbox

i am really sorry if im posting in the wrong page. my problem is I bought an xbox 360 for my son and all the (special) games works ok. i bought the console off ebay with the wink and you know the wink. I was was very impressed impressed with the graphics then decided to buy another for me but half of the games dont work on mine (yes it plays back ups) i am a complete noob on xboxes i can do wiis and psp no bother but this xbox lark is totally twisting my melons mans any help would be well appreciated. p.s ran it through xbox wav converter and still says wrong region????????????????
