ok im a softmodder, so far ive just been using a stock hard drive but now i would like to upgrade to a 250gb western digital that ive owned for a couple weeks, as far as i know i have everything hardware and software ive backed everything up correctly ( ithink) ive used xboxhdm to buid a hard drive from scratch correctly ( i think i mean it never said done succesfully or nothing but it acted like it did it) however when i go into option 3 the locking and unlocking tools and i type lockhd -a it says COMMAND NOT RECONIZED ive tryed everything i know, ive spent a whole weekend ( i mean it i barly sleep) on it. please i dont like to beg but its got me where im about to cry so pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee pleaseeeeeee freaking help me someone who knows what im missing please ( and dont say eeprom cause i got that) (although when i put it on my comp it says 1kb instead of 256 ???) ( the eeprom that is ) so plzzzzz help freakin plzz
firt type "lockhd" then some text will come up. now type "lockhd-a" i just used that a few days a go and it worked. make sure u abve the eeprom. hope that helps
