XDG3 Disc not recognised. Will the disc drive work on dif. xbox

hi guys

I have two xbox 360's. One has been modded to latest firmware which plays all the latest games up until yesterday where all XDG3AP2.5 games SAYS now the disc is not recognised. After doing research i have found out it is because of a silent update from xbox which chances the dae.bin.

my question is. on my 2nd xbox which has been banned and has old modded software. if i took out the modded disc drive with the latest firmware from the xbox that now does not recognise the new disc format would this work in the old xbox that has already banned and again play the new xdg3 games. I am not sure where the dae.bin is established on the console so this could be an option

i am aware i would not be able to go online as it is banned but at least i could play the latest titles again.

cannot change drives from one box to the next! double post!!

 

you can buy new disc dreives though so dont understand

 

if the drive is a hitachi motherboard with a swapped drive = it will work
if the drive is a samsung = it will work
only with new f/w though and the latest dash.
