Hi Folks, I got following problem. Everytime I try to encrypt the ratdvd movie into DVD ratDVD crashes. The error comes alway at the point of 10%. I tried already the following steps to solve it (without success): - change language - older version of ratDVD - tried on another computer (same error) Can it be that the movie file is corrupted? But in ratDVD format I can watch the movie. thanks for your help, Conan666
Exact same problem. Can watch movie in ratDVD, but try to extract to DVD and I get the crash. I've tried every option, it's the same point every time, very early. I'm using XP Pro SP 2. Error Signature: AppName: xebencoder.exe AppVer: 0.7.5.300 ModName: xebtcd.ax ModVer: 0.5.3.5 Offset: 0000b05c Any ideas? jaxparo
RATcheck fails to launch for me, say application error: 0xc0000135, same for RATbatch, same error. What's up? This is under XP Pro SP2, no other issues AFAIK.
I just had a thought, I installed XP Pro without having a DVD burner or suitable decoder Video Card installed. Are there XP system components missing that I need to install? I can play DVD's normally, and ratDVD will play, it just crashes on ratDVD>DVD, and also now RATcheck.
Do you have the .NET Framework installed? RATcheck is written in .NET - so this is required. It can be downloaded from Microsoft here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3&DisplayLang=en
I installed .NET Framework 1.1 and RATcheck ran fine. It checked my file and said it was fine also. I uninstalled the old version of ratDVD and installed the latest version. I rebooted the machine. Ran ratDVD to convert ratDVD file to DVD. It crashed again at about the same place as before. The error message was identical, but slightly different due to new version of ratDVD: Error signature: AppName: xebencoder.exe AppVer: 0.7.7323 ModName: xebtcd.ax ModVer: 0.5.3.5 Offset: 0000b05c Bumming. New ideas?
Hey jaxparo Got same problem here DVD seems to be fine with ratcheck When I ran ratdvd it converts until 71% of the movie menu. Get error after that. Tryied some older and new versions but still not working? Can someone help? greetz
Here's another data point. I thought perhaps my crappy Celeron CPU was the cause and I swapped up for a Pentium, but ratDVD still crashed at the exact same place as before, so the CPU makes no difference.
