I JUST INSTALLED THE XECUTER 2.6 CHIP ON MY XBOX V1.6 AND ALL IS WORKING OK I THINK BOOT UP WITH CHIP ON AND IT TAKES ME TO THE BLUE SCREEN WITH ALL THE OPTIONS AND WITH THE CHIP OF IT TAKES ME TO THE MS DESKTOP.BUT WHAT NOW I WOULD LIKE TO SET IT UP LIKE THE ONE I SEEN ON THE SCREEN SAVERS AS AMEDEA PLAYER BUT THEY WAS TALKING ABUT EVOLUTION X I WAS HOPING FOR SOME HELP I HAVE READ A LOT ON THE NET ABOUT THIS CANT MAKE NOTHING OF IT.
I am in the almost exact same boat now, except I tried flashing bank 1 with IND-BIOS only to have it not work and cannot get into the flash screen again. Bank 2 I tried to flash with M8plus16, but to no avail.. the dang thing just keeps loading the flash screen. It is a 1.6(b) and the chip is a Xecuter 2.6 I really need to get it working as it is for my brothers birthday. If not Imma going to have to rip the chip out of the 1.6 and fire it into one of my old 1.4 boxes.
