I have recently bought an Xecuter 3 Ce modchip with Xapt3R solderless adapter to install into my v 1.5 xbox. I have modded other v 1.5 xboxes with the same chip and adapter before with no problems. When I installed this one and ran the power test for the adapter, it worked fine. I then installed the mod chip and attached the reset/eject wires to the reset/eject adapter. When I plugged in the xbox, it immediately turned on without me touching the power button. The eject button flashed red and green. The only way to turn it off was to unplug it, which leads me to believe that the reset/eject adapter wasn't working properly. Another weird occurrence was when I plugged in the box to audio/video cords. The eject button stopped blinking, but the regular MS logo appeared on the screen instead of the Xecuter flash bios screen. The mod chip was still there, but the xbox wasn't recognizing it. I uninstalled the chip and Adapt3r and the xbox is back to normal, but it still freaks out without a/v attached to it. Ps: I was using an HDTV cable if that makes a difference. Please Help.
every xbox does that if you dont have A/V cables plugged in the light comes on andstarts blinking dont know the problem with the chip though....
