Hello and thank you in advance for any help. My current problem is I successfully installed an Xecuter 3 chip in my xbox and foolishly flashed a bios that was too old for the chip to be recognized. Therefore when I power on my xbox I now get The Xecutor 3 chip is not found! I now found a new bios but can not flash it because the bad one is still on the chip. How do I flash the new bios over the old one or reset the whole chip so I can put the new one on.

    Thanks.

try changing banks. you should have installed a switch on the front of your xbox when you put the chip in, just change banks by using that switch

I have tried changing banks but the bios I put on used up all the space I assume because the other banks do not have enough space on them to take the correct bios which is 1 mb in size. I have also been told of some backup option when you hit power and eject at the same time. I have yet to execute this option correctly because all that happens is the cd drawer hits my hand and it powers up the same way it always did. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Alright I finally got the bios straightened out. Now my new mission is installing a new dashboard. I found evox 3935 but the instructions are in spanish... I can ftp fine to the xbox so can't I just drag and drop some folders reboot and be done with is? If so which ones do I replace. I already backed up my whole xbox drive on my computer. Thanks

Just ftp the Evox files and folders to Root C. Then goto X3 Config Live set a path to Evox. So it is like C:/evoxdash.xbe
