I just installed my xecuter3 into a v1.6b xbox. The xbox performs normally on a regular boot, with a long press of the power button, and I can play games and what not. I can also boot the xbox with flashbios 3.0.1 or 3.0.3 in a bank or the 256k backup bank. With flashbios I can flash a bank using http or disc and it completes the task and powers off as expected. But then on trying to load the new bios I get no video, the xbox starts and reboots 2 times, finishing with a continueing red/yellow flashing of the reset button. Has anyone experienced or has knowledge of were I may have gone wrong. Thanks
i had that when i put the same chip in my v1.0 xbox. i solved the problem by flashing a different bank with a different bios. Im not sure what bios i used but i think it was the excuter bios then i used my evox disc i made to ftp and put the dash on and stuff. there is a auto installer out there that has all the dashboards on it and emulators you choose what you wont to download and it will i just got it it would have been nice to have when i modded my xbox.
I have v l.o xbox and xecuter 3 solderless adapter and it does the 3x bot red and yellow and the eject button doesnt work when the modchips in.
@Hodderman Make sure the first two banks are pushed in and the last two are out. @r0ker420 Check your solderless connection...you might need to solder down one side of the adapter.
