I just got my chip, and tried to install it in my box. I got the two blue LEDs to light, but no matter what I tried I could not get the green LED to come on and get to the screen that would allow me to flash the BIOS. If anyone out there has run into similar problems, please let me know how you resolved them. It is a version 1.0 box. However, I tried installing the chip with the switch in both positions.

Do all the pins connect to the Do points because that is what happened to me.
You can see that the pins though all the Do points by looking for scratches on the Do points.

There seems to be an alignment issue with the x2lite+. I got mine from the-console-corner and have read other posts on here that have had the same problem. I had to drill out (very slowly) the hole larger in the x2 board to get the d0 pin to align. After tightening it down and got the light to come on I put hot glue around the screw and board on top and on the opposite side of the board where there were no traces or components to help keep it from moving. Hope this helps.

After a few hours of work, I got the chip in the right way. Finally, I just happened to put it in the right way and got everything to come on. Now, I get no picture on the TV when I turn the chip on. If anyone else had a similar problem, please share how it was resolved.

cheech, according to some instructions i found on the-console-corner when the blank screen happened to me, just turn off the xbox, switch the chip to disable, turn on the xbox in "normal" mode for 15 seconds, turn off, enable the chip, then turn it on again. Worked for me when i tried it.

The Lite chip comes with Cromwell on it, and it doesn't work with S-video if thats whats your using. Get rid of the Cromwell and the S-vid is fine.
