I have opened the xbox installed the chip(solderless) and when I turn the xbox on I dont see the xenium splash screen. I see a red led on the chip. It is my birthday tommorow and I have a 300gb hard drive ready to be filled with games Please help me!!! the only thing i can think of is the plug that comes with the chip that has a blue and black wire on it but i am a noob so i dont know. The manual i read said you did not need it
Happy birthday! If your xbox is FRAGing (Flashing Red And Green). I had the exact same problem. It could be one of two things. If your xbox is a 1.0 the solderless adaptor could be a dud. This is what was wrong with mine. There is a whole tread on it on the offical site. It could also be a bad install the same thread has the answer to that problem also. Just have a ggod read.
