    it is a mod that allows you to run,well i think linux but i dont know. On your xbox 360 and allows for simular modding like that of the original xbox including emulators and the ability to install games straight to hard drive and never see the disc again

    Can I still do this with a crippled hdd/console? And is there a tutorial for this?

    no you cannot do this if you have been banned. this proccess requires that you do the jtag hack.

    the jtag hack is not possible to do if you have updated to the newer dashboards.

    witch you have done since you have been banned

    I believe you're wrong on that one. Some boxes were banned long ago. I have a RRoD'd box that was banned in winter of 2006/2007. I'm gonna have it reflowed and commence to jtagging it. I'll buy a replacement case for it because the original case is jacked up.

    so what dashboard version does this go up to, i have a box right now that hasn't been on live in a while.
