what were your averages? If your constantly getting spikes of 3 your average will be above .20
post your kprobe result/have you tried burning more games getting the same result?

I was referring to brewsky, his results were:
PI 28
PIF 0.48 (I'm sure this was his average)

call me whatever you like, time will tell if I'm an idiot or not. I'm just going on what I read, I use Verbs.

 

why don't you read the whole forum? The point of this forum was to get the lowest possible results with cheap media, as the current burner max settings with cheap media were producing EXTREMELY high results, and now with MrGreaser's tut, we are now able to get much much much much lower results. So thanks for explaining what c4eva and team-xecuter recomends, as we already know this.

Without MrGreaser's tut I was getting way higher results, and if you must know my average PI is 4.08 and PIF is 0.17 all relatively the same after burning 6 xgd3 games with this method. I have already beat Goldeneye, BF3, and just beat MW3 today, so if in the future these games stop working I don't care, I could always burn them again if need be

Angiey, in the beginning, we were hearing that Verbatim would be the media that would be supported by PC Max Burner firmware...some were saying that it would be the only media that would be capable of properly burning XGD3 discs. I'm a big fan of Verbatim media. Unfortunately, not everyone around the world has the same type of access to Verbatim media, so there were a number of people that set out to find different alternatives.

The goal of this was not to compete with Verbatim results (although some people are getting much better results with other media, whatever the reasons may be), but to get different medias to work with the new firmware and produce acceptable results. Now that we can produce acceptable results, there are steps that we can now take to refine the process, and hopefully save others time and money through our successes and failures.

This is how the XBOX community used to operate in the beginning.

 

Maye someone can help me. I cant find the settings for the Forced hypertuning online hypertuning and overspeed. Also my Disc ID: RICOHJPN-D01-67. I am using windata disks and have never had a problem before. My drive is an Ihas 124 b. The problem I am having is not with the burn it is with the verify in imgburn. it fails to read at like 48-49% Ok nevermind ther hypertuning and stuff found it and it is fine. Why does it not verify?

 

Have the hard drives you are reading from been recently defragmented? Defragmenting seems to help a lot of people. Make sure you kill background processes that are not necessary for the system to be running. Did you follow the steps in the guide on the first post of this thread? I/O settings changes make a big difference.

 

I also use cheap mirror media I think it's Ritek-S04 so I'll run kprobe tomorrow on a copy of mw3 to see what results I get and post back. I only got a new Lite-On ihas 324-32b today and flashed burner max so I hope for good results.

I have unrar x and everything else is just not working because the L.t 2.0 format or something...im new so idk much....can you help?

The reason you are having problems burning games now is because new XGD3 games are to big for the standard DL dvd. You need to trunicate your burn using IMGBURN and this will only burn 97% of the iso, however this method works. I'm pretty sure IMGBURN is not supported for the mac so whatever burning program you are using for the mac is most likely not trunicating or finalizing you disk. There is now a cf out called burnermax which will flash various LITEON drives and make them burn XGD3 games at 100%. Tell me more info on whats going on when you try and burn and what program are you using? Does your burn fail? does it complete? etc.... Do you have a PC?

 

thanks for replying bro.... ok so i used to burn using Abgx 360 and xbox 360 iso hacker but as you know for the newer games this is not going to work. I tried to hack the games on iso hacker and it said you can not hack with your mac. I tried to run it through Abgx 360 and it gave me an error message. Now I am reading a lot of things that are saying I need to update or flash my xbox again to play these xgd3 games? I bought my xbox modded so i dont even where to start. i only knew how to burn games by going on youtube so right now with all the changes im pretty much lost.

 

first of all ABGX is not supported for XGD3 games so doet waste your time using it at the moment.I thought you had LT2.0 as you mentioned it in your first post, but ya if you don't have LT2.0 then XGD3 games wont work on your 360. Once you get LT2.0 the xgd3 games will work. Do u have a PC as IMGBURN is the best program for burning XGD3 games? There are many programs out there to burn ISO' for the mac such as, X360 ISO Hacker, ISOx360 or OSx360 Your also going to need to buy one of these drives, as most future games will do hash checks like Forza 4 and wont work. These new drives can be flashed with a cf called burnermax and will burn games at 100%. The drives are pretty cheap only around $20. If you using a laptop your gonna need a usb case for it. Your first step is to flash your xbox with LT2.0

yeah i have a mac, and mybad i wasnt making sense but no unfortunately i dont have it flashed to L.T 2.0. i think i just have a regular mod. I bought it back in may of this year and I dont think that firmware L.t 2.0 was out around then. no sir i dont have a PC, i need one for this dont i? i dont know how or where to find the required tools for these upgrades to my xbox. oh yeah my xbox is banned...i bought it like that though from some guy on craigslist. is there a way for me to still get on xbox live even though its banned?

 

ya you definitely don't have lt2.0 as it was just released last month. As for flashing you 360 to LT2.0 it seems like your a newb to this, so I just recomend paying someone to flash it for you. You can search on craigslist for "MOD Xbox" and im sure you can find someone to do it for you for around $20 or less. If you 360 is banned from xbox live then you will NEVER be able to use that 360 to get on live again as it bans your 360's motherboard, however you can still play your games but just not on live. So go flash it to LT2.0. Once you flashed your 360 then use this guide http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=736405 so you can burn XGd3 games using your mac.Good luck

EDIT: I'm testing another game in kprobe2, seems to look all good until it gets to 50% then the PI just jumps up over 100.

EDIT 2: I don't think this is any better in fact it seems worse this is a 2.4x burn instead of 4x only thing that's better is a lower PI max.

Hi , i have just flashed my iHAS 124-19B with the ixtreme burner max software and the A-One disks burn 100% but fail at 49 % on the verify...why is this? thanks in advance

 

Also after the other post I went and tested the 2 discs, The 4x MW3 gets disc read error at campaign as it starts and the 2.4x battlefield 3 disc 1 keeps slowing down in the xbox drive like it's not reading properly. I have a Lite-On ihas 324-32b with burner max and my xbox has a Lite-On 93450c with LT+ 2.0 anything I can do or will I just have to invest in verbs?
