I hope this is the right forum,i really couldnt find one that matched exactly. My question is,why does the free download not work, and why would anyone PAY for the "full" version, knowing that this program doesnt even work!? I have downloaded 2 different programs now, from Xilisoft, both free versions...one only copied like half of the video and it also froze the screen while the sound continued. The other one didnt burn AT ALL,the dvd was blank after i got finished. So i'm just skeptical about these programs (ANY of them really,i must have tried 4 or 5 over the last 6 months). The videos i am trying to burn are cellphone videos which are in 3g2 format. So far NO program i have ever tried (free or purchased) can burn these onto dvd for me. Can anyone tell me what i can do? I am desperate,i have to get a new cellphone and i cant lose these videos forever!!
'DVD Flick' converts various formats to DVD. It lists .3g2 as being supported. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvd_flick.cfm For other than DVD format, you might try 'Super' http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/super.cfm
UGH As usual, that didnt work either! I downloaded DVD Flick and i got an error message saying it couldn't encode my files! Whatever that means! I dont know how to post the error log on here but if anyone wants to see it,i can email it to you i guess. I am really ready to scream. I cannot beleive how difficult this is.
