I successfully added an .srt to a film, but cannot figure out a way to retard its starting about 10 seconds so they are on time with the actual spoken words. Found this https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/373379-How-to-burn-in-hardcode-srt-with-Xmedia-Recode but it's useless on that problem. I cannot find any item on the SUBTTITLES tag to retard or extend the file's timing. Help!
1. Re-download .srt subtitle 2. load the subtitle to the text 3. open your movie, find the exact time of spoken word and remember the speaking time 4. edit the timing on the text. 5. re-load the .srt subtitle to your movie. Note: if you have no idea on how to edit srt subtitle file in text, you can google. There are dozens of free online subtitle adjust tools that are able to adjust subtitle timing and sync subtitle with your video.
